Luxembourg by train - Old part of Luxembourg, Gründ

#26 – Luxembourg by train – 30 Days, 30 Countries

…. Still on schedule, soon arriving in Luxembourg by train! I’m lacking behind with updates, but the last couple of hours have been tremendously interesting and agonizing. But first… I still have to update you about Luxembourg. We took the TGV from Paris Est to Luxembourg, reaching a stunning 320 kilometres per hour… and the train was pretty full. If it would only have been tourists / people going on holiday on that train they would have choosen an excellent place to stay. Luxembourg is rather unique in the sense that it’s city is sort of divided by a tremendously huge stunning park (Petrusse Valley). Combine that with 2 large bridges (passarelle) that connect the two city parts and the picture is complete. I wish I could have stayed longer.. So this afternoon I will tell you about Brussels.. and that post will be interesting for sure.
